W GYNAE Women's Clinic: Dr Ben Choey Wei Yen

I just safely delivered a babygirl under Dr Ben’s care. To anyone who is looking for a male gynaecologist ,I highly highly recommend Dr Ben Choey. Guaranteed no regrets . Just walk into his clinic. Vibe check passed ✅ He’s a gentle , sophisticated and a soft spoken man w not much words but if u have any queries he will in no doubt give u the most ethical and straightforward response. To me personally , nth much to say means everything smooth n going well . Most importantly he dresses clean and smart. Do things also clean and fast. (But not the cincai kind of fast). Dr Ben is passionate and professional in what he does which means ure in great hands. Also, Dr Ben has the best team of nurses who is soo soo genuinely friendly and caring every visit has been a 11/10 experience for me and i will do it all over again while being under the care of Dr Ben and his team.

Recommended. Very nice doctor that give precise advise that give us confident throughout the pregnancy period. Soft spoken and calm, well demonstrates his experience. Nurses in the clinic are super patient and friendly as well. Just sometimes take ultrasound super fast that cannot see baby’s face/body clear (understood that most of the time with queues so he has to be fast)

Dr Ben is really calm and reassuring and explained everything clearly and concisely. I had to do an uncomfortable procedure which caused me a lot of stress and discomfort but thankfully one of the nurses (i wish i got her name!) helped me through it. She was the sweetest most genuine healthcare worker i've ever encountered. She hugged and comforted me and just made the really uncomfortable experience bearable. I appreciate the team so much!

Dr Ben Choey is a celebrity Gynae since I worked in healthcare industry. I have always heard about how his patients love him. I personally like how he is straight to the point, responsive and is sensitive to what new age pregnant women need through short consultation. When I started visiting his clinic for my 1st pregnancy. It's 1hr+ waiting time even with an appointment. When it's my turn, I felt a sense of hurry knowing many patients waiting outside. Thankfully i have prepared the questions so it's fruitful. I spent about 10min for my 1st consultation including the ultrasound for like 15secs (Thankfully my husband quickly took a video of our baby images). The charges is $600++ which is fair for a popular gynae in SG. Clinic staff is rather incompetent for such a high volume clinic. They conveyed the wrong info while passing message from doctor; do not know how to count the correct daily dosage of the most common supplement - folic acid; prescribed additional medication without checking with doctor and gave questionable verbal instructions that is not printed on the label - such as anti nausea pills must be taken continuously for 12days once you started); also packing meaningless appointment like blood test on a Saturday 4pm when lab is closed. Dr Ben is still a great Gynae to go to, patients all love him. I understand the clinic staff are usually low pay, wanted to finish their work fast and was trying to help the doc at an overwhelming clinic. It's common in any other busy clinic in SG. I recommend you pay clinic visit more consciously - read up about what to prepare for your 1st consultation, prepare the questions u wanted to ask for professional opinion, and research about supplements and dosage for different trimester. For this clinic they do not really follow appointment but walk in registration. So even with appointment, u may want to walk in to register first to get into queue, then go for a walk because commonly you'll still need to wait for 1hr+ or maybe longer on weekends.

I do not recommend this Gynae, although he is nice but he has a lot of patiences, so even though I have booked appointment still need to wait for around 1hr (everytime I visited him). Very tiring to wait esp when we're pregnant and after 10days of C-section come the clinic to check the wound still need to sit and wait for more than 1 hour (I was super exhausted). If I have 2nd baby, definately never come back again.
